Cyclades PR2000
|
The Cyclades-PR2000 is a cost-effective Multiprotocol router
that can be used for access applications (inter-office connectivity
and Internet Access) or for central site applications.
It has one Ethernet port for connection to the LAN, two Serial
WAN ports for connection to leased lines, one asynchronous serial
port for backup and control applications. It is the ideal product
for small to medium sized corporate networks and Internet Service
Providers (ISPs).
The menu oriented interface makes installation and configuration
of the router simple. Monitoring and management can be done
from the local console port or from anywhere in the network
by using SNMP or Telnet. Software updates can be done over the
LAN or WAN and are stored in flash memory. These features give
you painless installation, management and maintenance.
The Ethernet 10/100 Mbps LAN and V.35/RS-232/X.21 serial WAN
interfaces support a variety of network protocols and ensure
network interoperability. Features such as VPN, NAT/PAT, packet
and service filtering, password control, RADIUS/ TACACS, PAP
and CHAP authentication makes the Cyclades-PR2000 secure and
protect your network from unauthorized access. Support for traffic
shaping, dial-on-demand, and dedicated WAN support allows flexible
and reliable remote networking.
