Cyclades is revolutionizing the "Device Server" industry
by launching the first Linux-based product.
Different from other device server equipment designed with
proprietary software technologies, Cyclades-TS100 leverages
Open Source software (Linux OS) to offer a high-level of flexibility
and support for customizations and additional functionality
incorporated by the end-user or system integrator.
The TS100 is a high-end, high-performance, single port device
server for control and automation applications. It supports
one Ethernet 10/100BT LAN connection and one RS-232/RS-485,
software selectable.
The TS100 connects serial devices to the TCP/IP network and
can be used in industrial automation, out-of-band network
management, retail automation, or to integrate legacy devices
to the network.
The TS100 combines powerful hardware and the flexibility
of Embedded Linux to create a platform that can accomodate
your custom application without imposing restrictions. It
is small in size (similar in size as a deck of cards) and
supports DIN rails for easy wall mounting, but it is "big"
in functionality and performance.
